About Me

I have always wanted to work with children, and after working a variety of office based jobs I decided to pursue that dream and become a childminder. I have previous experience volunteering in a local primary school and have done many hours babysitting, as well as being a mum to my own little boy.

My approach-

I believe firmly in facilitating the naturally curious and creative approach of children in a safe and caring environment. We enjoy lots of messy, sensory fun and crafts and have a range of open ended toys to encourage children's imaginations. We also make regular trips to local parks, playgroups and the occasional trip further afield to farms, zoos and soft play.

At Little Sprites we are lucky enough to have a beautiful and largely natural outdoor space. I take great pride in encouraging the children to take part in learning about, and growing, different fruit and vegetables. Children can even collect eggs from our rescue hens Henny, Penny, Lucky and Clucky.
